My head is pounding. My throat is sore. My eyes are itchy. My ears are plugged up. The green pollen is covering the hood of my car and mold is forming under the wet leaves out front. Spring is here in the south. I may be allergic and pretty miserable, but I sure can't complain about the beauty emerging all around me. I was in Macon, Georgia last weekend and this is what cherry blossoms is full flower look like. AMAZING, even when seen from the backside of a kleenex.
The owners of this farm had the whole yard planted in cherry trees all lined up in lanes and rows. It was stunning.
I hope they are used to the annual Spring instrusion of gawking photographers with big zoom lenses pointed right into the yard.
It was a gorgeous morning and I wish I could thank the gardner who planted these gorgeous trees so many years ago, I hope he or she lived long enough to see how wonderful they are in full maturity.
