From what I hear, the rest of the economy is picking up, getting back to normal, regaining momentum, well, I mean that's what I hear on the news... but not so much from the boots on the ground here in Florida and if you ask the CEO of Borders or the teachers in Wisconsin. Times are tough, so tough women need to take up arms and handle them. We need more modern women like the wartime brides.
These women, in their aprons, knew how to make a cake without sugar and a delicious casserole out of margarine, ketchup and crackers. They knew how to mend things, quilt things, bake things, can things then put labels on everything.
We need a little more of that "made in America" resourcefulness around here to get us through the tough times. So, if you've canned things, sewn things, baked things, made fudge or jelly or need to go to a kitchen shower... well... you just might need a tag. Cute tags are as good as expensive greeting cards any day.
